Abu Malik is the President and Founder of Metric5. Abu oversees strategic planning and business development efforts for Metric5 while supporting solution delivery to our customers. Abu’s leadership, rooted in our core values and driven by innovation, has resulted in the continued rapid growth of the firm. He has more than 20 years of professional experience spanning technology and thought leadership, software development, enterprise IT, proposal creation, and all aspects of service delivery. Prior to founding Metric5, Abu graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology, and honed his technical and management consulting expertise at Oracle and Accenture across multiple private and public sector engagements.
Abu has Southern roots; he was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. During his free time he likes to try new restaurants, attend sporting events near and far, and hang out with his niece and nephew. You can reach Abu at abu.malik@metric5.com.
Dave Meagher
chief operations officer
Dave’s expertise spans strategy, IT implementation, and operations across the federal and commercial domains. A proud Virginia Tech Hokie, he began his career working for Accenture and has since held delivery, management, and leadership roles at professional services companies large and small. Dave enjoys engaging with Metric5 customers while overseeing our enterprise operations and strategic corporate initiatives.
Dave and his wife spend their free time chasing around their two young, spirited daughters - with the help of lots of coffee. They love getting away to the Adirondacks in New York and the Outer Banks of North Carolina. You can reach Dave at dave.meagher@metric5.com.
Adam Schwaber
chief technology officer
Adam has more than 15 years of experience in federal technology consulting, with a background in infrastructure technology, systems integration, and cloud computing. In his role as Chief Technology Officer, Adam drives a culture of innovation throughout Metric5. He provides hands-on support to our customers, helping them optimize their technology footprint by aligning their unique mission objectives to flexible and scalable system architectures. Adam also provides technical leadership and training, and leads Metric5's Quality and Security teams.
Adam graduated from Union College with a B.S. in Mathematics and began his professional career at between Accenture and Northrop Grumman before coming to Metric5. Perry Kessler
chief financial officer
Perry is the Chief Financial Officer of Metric5. His background is in consulting and public accounting where he spent 20+ years as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) advising government contracting and other professional services firms on mergers and acquisitions, system compliance, internal controls, and organizational risk management. Leveraging this experience as well as an in-depth knowledge of accounting regulations and industry best practices Perry excels at developing strategic solutions to business challenges and driving diverse, high-visibility priorities internally and externally. He is a passionate people leader and culture creator.
After graduating from the University of Kansas, Perry settled in Loudoun County, Virginia where he currently resides with his wife, two boys, and puppy. When not working, he loves to coach his sons in all sports and travelling with his family. Vacations are usually to national parks, lakes/beaches, or snow skiing. Perry is a huge fan of the Kansas Jayhawks and enjoys attending sporting events of all kinds. He also likes experimenting with his smoker, riding the Peloton, and a good glass of bourbon. Dana Taylor
director of hr
Dana Taylor has more than 15 years of HR experience focused on government contracting. She takes a hands-on approach in management, employee relations, talent acquisition, training, benefits, payroll, and compliance. Dana earned her Master’s Degree in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR) and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.

John Paul Hess
director of contracts
JP brings 15 years of experience to his role supporting the full lifecycle of Metric5 contracts. Prior to coming to Metric5, he worked for Booz Allen Hamilton and General Dynamics Information Technology.
